After a five-year career, the creative director of Balmain is leaving the French fashion house. He made the label known for the rock and military look with slim silhouettes in leather and sequins. A successor has not yet been appointed.

 This is the double cover for the May 2011 issue of UK’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine. Kate Moss stars in Harper’s Bazaar's tribute to Alexander McQueen  wearing a ruffled gown that Alexander McQueen designed especially for her, to wear at the close of his show in 2006.

This is the cover for the May 2011 issue of Vogue's Japan magazine. Kate is wearing a fluffy Chanel dress and photographed by Mert & Marcus. This is the first issue after it's new name, the magazine was known as Vogue Nippon beforehand.

You can make a film in Hollywood without Steven Spielberg's blessing, and you can publish software without Bill Gates's blessing, but you can't succeed in fashion without Anna's blessing.
