DARREN ARONOFSKY DIRECTS FOR YSL

The Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky directs a YSL two-minute commercial spot for men's cologne La Nuit de l'Homme. The French actor and husband of Monica Bellucci Vincent Cassel, known for his villain roles, prowls posh Parisian nightclubs in an omnipresent, rather oily way, yet manages to attract a variety of women, one of them played by the seductive Hungarian model Eniko Mihalik. Aronofsky says he took inspiration from Soren Kierkegaard's The Seducer's Diary, about the seduction of young women simply for the sake of seduction. The music is composed by Clint Mansell.
