Christian Dior Fall 2011, Paris Fashion Week WITHOUT John Galliano.
On Friday 4/5 the Dior catwalk show took place at a famous museum in Paris(Rodin). The thing is that the designer John Galliano wasn't there because of his anti-Semitic comments last week at a bar in Paris and probably that's the reason why there weren't all the people who usually are on the front-row. Opening the show was Dior, Sidney Toledano who addressed the audience in French. The first model was Karlie Kloss wearing a huge hat, buckled knee boots, velvet britches and a sweeping cashmere cloak. At the end of the show instead of John Galliano showing up with his impressive costumes, the atelier's huge team crowded onto the runway in their white lab coats.
